I specialize in documenting weddings in Skaneateles, New York but I also love destination weddings! My signature, in addition to beautiful images, is personalized service. I book a limited number of weddings a year to ensure I have enough time to provide excellent service. A wedding is a whirlwind of events, gone in the blink of an eye. There’s nothing more important to a perfectly executed event than an organized timeline. I am here to help assist you in planning out your day so that you don’t miss a beat. After the wedding is over I offer design services to create one-of a kind items from your wedding photography. When you hire me no detail will be overlooked and no questions will go unanswered.

I grew up in Virginia and proudly attended Virginia Tech where I earned a degree in Fisheries Science. I started my professional career as a Fisheries Biologist for the Forest Service in the Rockies and the Pacific Northwest. Although I enjoyed my time studying wild salmon and trout I decided to return to school to study my first love, photography. I earned a degree from RIT and a Master's degree in Multimedia, Photography, and Design at The Newhouse School at Syracuse University.

My resume includes freelancing for several organizations including the New York Times, being named a Carnegie/Knight fellow, and an adjunct professorial position at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, where I taught multimedia storytelling. I live in Skaneateles with my marvelous husband, Lee, and I am most proud of our baby girls, Charlotte Anne, Suzie Lee, and Victoria Rose.
