Airelle and Andrew’s wedding was fabulous…you can’t go wrong with a blissfully happy couple, a New Orleans style second line, a first dance that morphs into a flash mob, double rainbows, and the charming Fontainebleau Inn. I hope to photograph many more weddings at the Fontainebleau Inn, it will be hard to top Airelle and Andrew’s wedding day! This is the part where I wish lots of love and luck to the newlyweds but they already have such a tremendous abundance of both, instead I will wish them a lifetime together as joyful as their wedding day.

Larissa and John had a spectacular day at the Frog Pond Bed and Breakfast in Skaneateles. I love, love, love this property…fabulous gardens, historic buildings, and acres of meticulously maintained woods, meadows, and ponds. Simply put, the entire property is charming. To emphasize the lush setting of the Frog Pond Larissa and John’s wedding was bursting with fresh flowers from Plenty of Posies, they never disappoint! My favorite moments from their wedding were the first look (John’s reaction was so sweet) and the touching toasts from their family were also pretty great. A huge nod to Kate at Lovewell Celebration Design for pulling off the beautiful backdrop for the wedding and reception, it was flawless!

Megan and Timothy had the most glorious June wedding at the Aurora Inn, it just doesn’t get much better than the Aurora Inn with perfect weather (although my favorite wedding there was in the pouring rain)! These high school sweethearts went to undergrad together and now they are both in grad school at Cornell, they are in their early 20s and they’re quickly approaching a decade together! My favorite aspect of their wedding day was watching how much fun their large families had together (he’s one of 5 and she’s one of 6)…you can tell they all really enjoy getting together. Megan and Timothy I wish you a lifetime of happy years together!

Elizabeth and Marc live in London but wanted a traditional wedding so they decided to get married in her hometown. To make it even more special they held their reception at the Hotel Syracuse in the same ballroom where her parents celebrated their marriage many years before. I was impressed with the restoration of the grand ballroom…the wall of two-story windows, faux painted sky ceiling, and the fabulous antique chandeliers really make the room lovely. The best part of this wedding was watching Marc with Elizabeth…his love, respect, and adoration were so apparent in his gestures and glances (her personal vows were equally as touching). I hope they someday get to celebrate three generations of weddings in the same ballroom!

Nicole and Todd had one of the best wedding celebrations I have ever witnessed because their beautiful baby girl was in attendance, her little spirit was so bright and calming even though she was rather puny and running a fever. My absolute favorite moment from the day was when little Emme started to cry during the ceremony and Nicole’s motherly instinct took over, she left the alter mid-prayer and scooped her baby up and both Nicole and Todd soothed her as they were finishing the blessing, then they walked down the aisle as a family. After the ceremony everyone celebrated at Justin’s Grill where touching speeches were made, especially from Nicole’s matron of honor…that speech was a real tearjerker, well done! I wish the three of you a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness!
