I specialize in documenting weddings in Skaneateles, New York but I also love destination weddings. My signature, in addition to beautiful images, is personalized service. I insist on shooting complementary engagement portraits to give us a chance to get to know each other prior to the big day and after the wedding is over I offer design services to create unique items from your wedding photography.

I grew up in Virginia and proudly attended Virginia Tech where I earned a degree in Fisheries Science. I started my professional career as a Fisheries Biologist for the Forest Service in the Rockies and the Pacific Northwest. Although I enjoyed my vagabond lifestyle studying wild salmon and trout I decided to return to school to study photography. I earned a degree from RIT and a Master's degree in Multimedia, Photography, and Design at The Newhouse School at Syracuse University.

My resume includes freelancing for several organizations including the New York Times, being named a Carnegie/Knight fellow, and an adjunct professorial position at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, where I taught multimedia storytelling. I live in Skaneateles with my marvelous husband, Lee, and I am most proud of our baby girls, Charlotte Anne, Suzie Lee, and Victoria Rose.
