Stephanie and Jason had a classic Skaneateles wedding, they were married at St Mary's and then celebrated lakeside at the Skaneateles Country Club. Stephanie and her crew got ready at 34 State Street and it is my new favorite wedding prep location...I highly recommend it for your wedding day or even a little luxurious getaway! I had a chance to get to know Stephanie and her family when I documented her sister's wedding, I am so happy they chose me again since it's always delightful to work with their family! Jason and Stephanie were blissed out enough to remain completely fabulous even though we were battling extreme heat and humidity (thank God Jason had the foresight to pack a fresh shirt to change into before the cocktail hour)! They kept the great energy going all evening with The Mere Mortals, it's such a treat when great vendors and people come together to create a wonderful celebration. Sarah and Charlie are married! I met these two the day of their wedding, by the time I photograph a wedding I have usually met with the couple several times including an engagement session. It's really important to me that my clients are completely comfortable with me and my unconventional techniques before the craziness of their wedding day arrives (plus the couples who book me are awesome and I love getting to know them). The WEEK before their wedding Sarah graduated from medical school AND they closed on a house, phew. Needless to say they just couldn't find the time to fit me in. No worries, these two were easy to photograph...they were so blissed out that they just ignored the camera and enjoyed their celebration at the Skaneateles Country Club. Rosie and J.B. were married at St. Mary's of the Lake in Skaneateles and celebrated at the Skaneateles Country Club on a perfect Saturday in August. One thing I loved about their wedding day was Rosie's choice to do portraits on the grounds of Hobbit Hollow, a gorgeous inn and horse farm near the country club. I strongly recommend setting aside plenty of time for pictures of just the newlyweds on your wedding day and the best way to accomplish that without missing out on your reception is to do a first look, make the most of that time by selecting a backdrop worthy of your wedding day...you won't regret setting aside the time when you have tons of great images to pore over after your wedding day!

Kelly and Tyler are an incredibly energetic couple who surrounded themselves with an equally animated and huge wedding party making for a wild and fun wedding. It was a lot of work keeping this group wrangled but I was able to collect a range of images that documented their fun-loving ways while still managing to collect a few quiet moments in between the partying. Kelly and Tyler slipped away at the end of dinner to get some beautiful photographs on the docks of the Skaneateles Country Club. I love it when clients trust me, happily take my recommendations, and give me the space to step back and document a wedding rather than keeping me busy with extensive shot lists. Amelia and Patrick's Syracuse University infused wedding day in Skaneateles was a perfect day in late September. These two connected as undergrads and they celebrated their SU roots in many ways on their wedding day (I bet you can spot an SU reference in nearly every picture)! You can tell Patrick and Amelia are in it for the long run, they have an easiness with each other that has been perfected over the years. Christie and Rich met at the University of Virginia as first years, they fell hard and and fast but as we all know not all college sweethearts make it past graduation. Fast forward 20 years to a beautiful spring day bursting with blossoms at the Skaneateles Country Club to their wedding day. It was a pleasure documenting this wonderful celebration of second chances, first loves are such powerful forces in our lives and you can certainly see that reflected in the images made on their day. This couple is one of the sweetest ever, they had a huge wedding at the Skaneateles Country Club surrounded by gobs of joyful friends and family. It was such a happy atmosphere, everyone from 4 months to 90 years old were all smiles all day long! Kathleen and Rory were married in Rory's hometown of Skaneateles at St. Mary's Catholic Church and had their reception at the Skaneateles Country Club, two locations that have been very dear to Rory and his family for decades. Now that Kathleen and her family have made some treasured wedding memories in Skaneateles it is sure to be a favorite spot to her as well!

Sam and Mike had a beautiful day, it poured for weeks prior to their wedding day and for weeks following...somehow they got a bright sparkling day in the midst of a monsoon! It could have rained on them and I doubt that it would have subdued their joyful day, the love radiating from the newlyweds and their lovely family and friends was infectious, I spent the whole day feeling so happy!
