I have been to a lot of weddings and I typically see the same lovely traditions but Nicole and Kevin did something I had never seen before and it was awesome. Nicole's delightful grandmother was a bridesmaid and I hope this becomes a trend! It was a touching gesture and it was made even more special because we were able to witness the love her grandparents still have decades after their gold anniversary. I wish you lots of love and luck in your new lives together, you should be fine with your role models!!!

Sara and Anthony were married in Skaneateles and then celebrated at Lodge at Welch Allyn. My favorite moment of the day was when Anthony teared up when he saw his bride walk down the aisle. You may think that first looks spoil the drama of the "aisle" moment but Anthony's tears are clear evidence to the opposite. Another thing I loved was the generous amount of time we got to work with Sara prior to the ceremony...I am such a sucker for a veil!! You two make a beautiful couple (inside and out) thank you for including me in your happy day!

Laura and Nikolas exchanged their vows on a chilly November day at the Lodge at Welch Allyn. They opted for a first look to take advantage of the natural light and I am so glad they did, the sun had set before their ceremony began. Lindsay and Michael were married on a gray day in October but that didn't stop us from bringing the color when we took a little detour into a field of wildflowers on our way to their Lodge at Welch Allyn reception. I just love it when my clients trust me and play along with my crazy ideas (thanks for walking down those docks, ladies)! Some of my favorite moments from the day were when Lindsay teared up as her father escorted her down the aisle and when Michael fist pumped all the way down the aisle after they were declared man and wife (so cute). I wish you many happy years!!

Natalie and Michael had a wonderful wedding surrounded by tons of friends family, The Lodge at Welch Allyn was the perfect place to host their huge celebration! They were both so calm, collected, stunning, and happy the entire day...there were no signs of nerves in either of them, not once!! I wish them a life of love and laughter...a marriage just as fabulous as their wedding day.

Lizzie and Andrew are brilliant doctors fresh out of medical school and headed to L.A. to start their careers but before they make that transition they tied the knot in a lovely ceremony and reception at the Lodge at Welch Allyn. Their day was punctuated with periods of severe thunderstorms. Those storms added a lot of atmosphere...especially during the ceremony when Andrew slipped the ring on Lizzie's finger and in dramatic fashion intense thunder rumbled through the building and caused all in attendance to laugh, proving that mother nature must have a sense of humor and she certainly has good timing! Don't ever let anyone tell you that rain can ruin a wedding day, it simply adds to your story.

Sara and Bryan have known each other their entire lives and for most of that time their mothers have been figuring out how to get these two together! It finally happened on a beautiful October afternoon at the Point at Sand Beach followed by a reception at the Lodge at Welch Allyn. Sara and Bryan had a large wedding party and then they added a few adorable nieces and nephews and their sweet little fur baby to the mix. Congratulations to Sara and Bryan. You are meant for each other...your wedding day will set the tone for the joy you two will experience for the rest of your lives!

Allison is one of three girls and in three years all of the sisters have tied the knot in Skaneateles! They had initially planned on doing a destination wedding on a tropical island to make their wedding different, I am so glad they didn't...they had a perfect day and a beautiful reception at the Lodge at Welch Allyn! I had a wonderful day getting to know this pair and their entertaining families, I wish you both a lifetime of joy!

Kate and Val's wedding was a whirlwind, it was planned in just a few months because Val didn't want to put off their wedding any longer...they were going to wait until Kate finished medical school in two years but after dating for nearly a decade he just had to marry her sooner than later! These two are just so head over heels in love with each other and it shows. I wish you both a lifetime of joy and thank you for making me a part of your beautiful day!
